Fir a 5 star hotel the quality of the cocktails were not good, it varied greatly by who made them and just syrup , long ques felt uncomfortable

What was the highlight of Mitsis Rodos Village

Great overall!

There were lots of added extras included in the price which we thought were great! The topping up of the mini bar was fab, we loved having the pool towels, the all inclusive bar and food facilities at the beach were great. We liked the option to not have our sheets changed everyday, to help the environment. The choice of food in the day time was brilliant, loved all the choice, such as the burgers, souvlaki etc. There were key groups of staff, like those at reception, were great, real asset to the hotel. Overall it was great, just a few tweaks would make it perfect! The spa was lovely, real asset Really great food in the main restaurant The external photographers who come in for photos at dinner are great - fabulous service from them!

. The salt pools - veeeery salty . Nobody enforced the fact guests weren't allowed to reserve sunbeds - especially at the only fresh water pool. So forced to get up early to 'reserve' like everyone else, which isn't ideal . The sunbeds at the beach weren't in great condition . The staff in the main restaurant clearly preferred certain nationalities who would tip at every meal. Some people chose not to use the tip boxes (which we used upon departure) and considering it was an all inclusive, it must be a cultural thing. As a result there was not a single breakfast we got all the drinks we needed. We often had to find a server to even get orange juice, water and tea, as they were prepping tables and drinks for others. . The older, larger man who managed the restaurant openly berated the staff in front of guests, as did the younger, tall chap who seemed to be a supervisor. Not necessary or appropriate - and often didn't help, such as clear the tables they were complaining weren't clear, but just shout at them in front of guests

It’s a nice hotel but needs to be better staffed

The rooms were nice and comfortable, the staff were friendly and the pools were well maintained

There were too few staff for what felt like too many people. We had to queue for 15/20 minutes for food and drink, even for a glass of water, in 40 degree heat. The kids club had burnt down in the fire unfortunately but we weren’t told about this in advance.

Was very fun and worth the money. Reserve all the special restaurants!

The pools, the open bars everywhere and the unique restaurants were so nice and fun.

The first room we got wasn’t so clean and it was not the room we booked. The bed sheets are a bit small so they pulled of the mattress a lot and the bed is actually 2 single beds so there was always a gap. And the exchange of towels was not good, one day we needed to call the reception because they didn’t came at all and one day because the didn’t gave us big towels.

What was the highlight of Mitsis Rodos Village

Wonderful

Unfortunately we had to evacuate the hotel after only one night in the emergency evacuation due to the fires, but the single night we stayed had a great time. It is also worth noting the treatment of the hotel after the fire incident was over, Mary, the reservations manager, made sure we were quickly awarded the refund we were due, we received excellent service around the whole compensation issue. Andreas, the reception manager, also made sure to send us the suitcase, we look forward to receiving it. Many thanks to all the hotel staff and the dear people of Rhodes who faced a very difficult situation, we are eagerly waiting to return to visit Rhodes.

Good

Very nice hotel with excellent lobby and bar atmosphere. Good facilities and comfortable rooms

Crowded swimming pools were full with no available sun-beds because people are placing towels there for the whole day. Hotel is understaffed, with the kiosks and bars having long queues waiting to get a glass of water, or food etc and behind the bars usually there is one guy serving for the whole day.

It was nice, but wouldnt rush back.

Sunbed nightmares (accused of taking peoples sunbeds), queues for drinks, no seats in evenings... The top pool was too seperate and the beach was too far away, just felt segregated.

What was the highlight of Mitsis Rodos Village

A must stay for a relaxing all inclusive experience.

The facilities were so nice. We had a hotel room with sea view and it was clean and nicely furnished. Our beds were soft and comfortable. The food selection were amazing lots of food for different diet requirements. One evening we even had traditional Greek gyros. Lots of seafood option which was great. The hotel also had other restaurants you can book but we were not able to get a reservation as it was fully booked for our entire stay. We stayed in July which is their busy season and that didn’t bother us. We did go the burger restaurant and to the dessert restaurant a few times that had crepes and ice cream, the food was good. Every night we also had entertainment, singers and comedy club. Which was great if you didn’t want to make the 30 minute trip to Lindos you could stay at the resort throughout. Also all the staff were so lovely and friendly.

On the ground floor there are two bars and they were clearly short staffed. There was always a queue if you wanted something to drink during the times the main restaurant was not open. If you wanted a coffee or a cocktail you had to queue up, sometimes spending up to 15-20 minutes in the queue. That would sometimes deter us from getting anything and calling it an early night. The hotel is clearly catered to their large number of German guests, which is fine but TV in our room only had German channels, which is fine since I’ve not come on holiday to watch TV but I did think it was odd to have every TV be in German as the hotel also had a lot of French, Spanish, Polish and British guests. Lastly the hotel should have a policy about sun beds. Early in the morning there would be none left as people would put their towels on it disappear for half of the morning until they were ready to use it. Because of this we didn’t stay at the pool once but then the beach is only a 5 minute walk away and we got free sun beds there.

Nous avons bien aimé l'hôtel en lui même à beaucoup de charme et c'est tjrs très propres, les agents d'entretien passent tjrs récupérer les verres qui traîne ... le bémol sont les cafards... malheureusement nous en avons trouvé dans notre chambre, le service de l'hôtel a été tres réactif. Concernant la chambre, nous étions bien placé avec piscine privée donc vu sur la piscine communes, la chambre était spacieuse mais manque des équipements comme des prises, une boîte à mouchoir, nos boissons étaient chaudes dans le frigo à nôtre arrivée. Le personnel est très accueillant malgré la barrière de la langue... très peu parlé français. Pour le côté restauration nous avons très bien mangé c'était assez varié, en revanche nous n'avons pas réservé avant les restaurants a thèmes ( grecs asiatique...) et nous n'avons pas pu aller à tous les restaurants. Le service all in est très bien. Les animations étaient sympa pour les enfants. Je recommande cet établissement même si un peu de rénovation dans les chambres ne ferait pas de mal.

Le style et le côté assez design

Mon dieu… les piscines… pas moyen de s’y poser … tellement bruyant et pleines d’enfants et de bouées… même pas un transat dispo et pas possible d’y aller pour lire… La plage … en contrebas et pas très agréable avec les cailloux… bref le point hyper négatif c’est la baignade… et pas un restaurant de plage… un bar … limite propre!
